Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Website Builder Goat, you agree to these terms. If you're using the platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling two-factor authentication. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@websitebuildergoat.com.

You own everything you create on Website Builder Goat — your website content, images, customer data, emails, and business information. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide our services. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

You may not use Website Builder Goat to: host illegal content, send spam or unsolicited messages, distribute malware, infringe on intellectual property, engage in fraud, or harm the platform's infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation when possible.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are listed on our pricing page and do not include applicable taxes. We will not increase prices on your current plan without 30 days' advance notice. If you don't agree to a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, you can cancel at any time and your access continues through the end of your billing period.

You can export all your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON, HTML). This includes contacts, website content, emails, invoices, analytics, and all other data stored on the platform. After account deletion, we retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion. During this period, you can still export your data by contacting support.

We target 99.9% uptime for all paid plans. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance and performed during low-traffic hours. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data (beyond our backup obligations), or business interruption.

We may update these terms as our services evolve. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree with changes, you can cancel your account and export your data before the changes apply.
